Watchband

I make the watch straps from a single piece of thick belt leather and thin it out at the lugs and the buckle.  The buckle end has a fixed metal keeper to tuck the tail under as well as an adjustable leather keeper that moves freely. I thin the leather to approximately .070" at the lugs (this is the clearance between the pin and the watch face).  

I'm not a watch expert, but I'm happy to work through any issues together.  I've been making and selling watchbands in my shop for years, but selling them online is new for me in 2025.  There is a link at the bottom of the page if you would like a different color stitching.  I have quite a few different thread options and wouldn't mind ordering more colors.

Watchband Sizing

The method that you use for measuring makes a significant difference in the measurement.  Please use a thin* string or shoelace that fits snug (but not tight) around your wrist. (*Using a thicker material will give you a significantly different measurement.)  

-The Medium should get you in one of the four middle holes for wrists between 5 3/8" - 6 3/8" (assuming a watch face that is approximately 1 1/2" long).  

-The Large should work for wrists between 6 3/8" - 7 3/8".

-The total length of the Medium straps are: 127mm / 76mm or 5" / 3" (this is the leather measurement only--it does not include the buckle).

-The total length of the Large watch straps are: 140mm / 88mm or 5.5" / 3.5"
